Corporate License Tracking Application
A management application that enables multi-branch organizations to track software, hardware, and industry-specific licenses from a single center, with automatic expiration reminders.
Developed for a multi-branch, multi-department organization that struggled to manually track dozens of different licenses (software licenses, industry permits, certifications, hardware warranties), the Corporate License Tracking Application brings the entire license inventory together in a single centralized system. The application records the start and end date, responsible department, cost, and renewal conditions for each license. Automatic email and notification reminders are triggered for licenses approaching their expiration date, preventing potential operational or legal risks that could arise from a critical license expiring unnoticed. Thanks to a role-based authorization structure, each department can view and manage only the licenses within its own responsibility, while senior management can track the license status of the entire organization from a single reporting screen. The audit history feature strengthens compliance processes by recording when and how each license was renewed or updated.
Problem
The organization was tracking dozens of licenses used across different branches and departments through Excel spreadsheets and scattered documents. This led to missed license renewal dates, continued use of software with expired licenses, and compliance issues during audits. Since it was unclear which department was responsible, renewal processes were also frequently delayed.
Solution
With the developed application, the entire license inventory was brought together in a single centralized system, and the responsible department for each license was clarified. Thanks to automatic reminder notifications, renewal dates are no longer missed, and the audit history feature made compliance processes documentable. Senior management gained the ability to view the license status of the entire organization from a single screen.
